How to Clean Your Oven from Inside Out

How to Clean Your Oven from Inside Out

Cleaning is never fun, but if you’re going to do it, you might as well do a good job! Here are three easy steps on “How to Clean the Oven.”

Step 1: Remove the Racks and Trays
You might think the racks are hardly dirty, but grease and stains can be sneaky! Fill a tub or sink with hot water mixed with dish soap, baking soda, and white vinegar. Soak the racks for about 30 minutes, then rinse them with a cloth. They’ll look as good as new!

Step 2: Create a Chemical-Free Cleaning Paste
Mix half a cup of baking soda with just one tablespoon of water to form a thick paste. Spread this paste all over the interior of the oven using a sponge, but be very careful and try to avoid touching the heating elements. Then let it sit for a few hours to work its magic.

Step 3: Wipe It Down
By now, many stains should be easy to remove. For any stubborn spots, simply spray vinegar to create some fizz, then wipe away. Once all the stains are gone, rinse your cloth with water and give the oven one final wipe to ensure there’s no lingering vinegar smell.

Once you’re all done, your racks should also be ready to go back into the oven! Easy oven cleaning without using strong chemical detergents or harsh scrubs—mission accomplished!
